UO Conflict of Interest Policies and Research

Staff from Research Compliance Services will review the two institutional conflict of interest policies of particular relevance to sponsored researchers. The UO’s Conflict of Interest, Conflict of Commitment, and Outside Activities policy, applies to all UO employees, and the UO’s Financial Conflict of Interest in Research (FCOIR) policy applies to all sponsored researchers at the UO. This session will review the basic elements of each policy and the separate disclosure processes associated with each policy. This session will also cover best practices for conflict avoidance and management, and touch on other UO resources, policies, and offices that intersect with COI-COC and FCOIR compliance.

Fall 2020 session will be held  Friday, November 6, 12-1:30 pm

Registration is available through MyTrack or by emailing researchcompliance@uoregon.edu.
