Navigating Your Research
A research project involves many steps. We are here to help UO researchers and scholars navigate the resources, regulations, trainings, compliance issues and more.
Welcome
The Office of the Vice President for Research and Innovation supports the University of Oregon’s research mission by facilitating discovery and creative activity in labs, libraries and research facilities across campus in all departments. We provide a range of services that enable the research success of faculty, staff, and students — encouraging innovation and economic development through strategic partnering and technology transfer initiatives, helping faculty identify funding opportunities, and overseeing and coordinating the UO’s research proposal submissions, compliance, and contract and grant administration processes.
The Research Administration Portal (RAP) is a suite of digital tools and services to streamline research administration processes.

Pivot is a powerful external-funding search tool for UO researchers that offers thousands of funding opportunities from federal, state, and private foundations from around the United States and the world. For additional listings, subscribe to our twice-monthly newsletter, Funding Opps.

For businesses and laboratories looking to sponsor research initiatives, we can match your interests with faculty expertise and university resources.
